Brief Biography
Global health has been the focus of my research. I have investigated the impact of poverty eradication programs on the poor’s health seeking behavior in Bangladesh, assessed the policy of community health workers in South Africa, observed the practice of traditional medicine in rural India, and at the same time continued to follow the progress of UN Sustainable Development Goals. My previous experiences involved with NGOs, international campaigning and traditional Chinese medicine. Interdisciplinary collaboration greatly broadens the scope of my research. The health agenda of the disadvantaged in every society needs to be addressed. I invite those who are concerned about a shared, sustainable future to join my lab to identify challenges and opportunities with solid and rigorous research.
