PART B: Course requirement
 
1. Master program student must successfully completed 3 Required Elective Courses. 

2. For students of 99-107 Academic Year registered: 4 Required Elective Courses are EPIDEMIOLOGY, ADVANCED BIOSTATISTICS, HEALTH PROMOTION THEORY & PRACTICE, and POLITICAL ECONOMY OF HEALTH AND MEDICINE.

3. For students of 108 Academic Year registered and after: 3 Required Elective Courses are:
(1) ADVANCED BIOSTATISTICS;
(2) Choose 1course: EPIDEMIOLOGY and EPIDEMIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS;
(3) Choose 1 course: HEALTH BEHAVIOR THEORY AND RESEARCH and POLITICAL ECONOMY OF HEALTH AND MEDICINE and HEALTH PROMOTION THEORY AND PRACTICE.
 
4.For students of 111 Academic Year registered and after, add required: need to take Courses of General Education. Academic Ethics 6hrs: Please take online course at Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education (AREE) website, and pass the exam. When applying the final defense, please submit the course certificate at the same time.
 
5. Successfully complete the required minimum credits including professional courses (24 credits: it contains Required Courses (2 credits) and Elective Courses (22 credits)) and the dissertation (6 credits).
 
PART C: English requirement
 
Before apply degree test (oral examination), students should present their proficiency in English which must be equivalent to or better than the mid-intermediate level of GEPT test result or TOEIC 550.
The English certificate issued at a time more than 5 years before applying degree test is not allowed.

PART B: Course requirement
 
Successfully complete the required minimum credits including professional courses (18 credits) and the PhD dissertation (12 credits)
A PhD student can apply qualification examination test, who has successfully completed required courses and required elective courses.
 
For students of 111 Academic Year registered and after, add required: need to take Courses of General Education. Academic Ethics 6hrs: Please take online course at Center for Taiwan Academic Research Ethics Education (AREE) website, and pass the exam. When applying the final defense, please submit the course certificate at the same time.
 
PART C: English requirement
 
When PhD students submit application for the degree test (oral examination), students should present their proficiency in English which must be equivalent to or better than TOEIC 785/ TOEFL-IBT 72. The certificate on TOEFL test issued at a time more than 2 years before registering the program is not allowed. Equivalently, the students may present their proficiency in English by providing with the GEPT test result, which should be at the high-intermediate level or higher.
